A team which needs to grow

Update - 26 November 2008

If you have arrived here without seeing two welcomes you won’t know who Rabbie is. Find your way to the Home page using the link. The welcomes are there as well.

Meet the team

First - there are the organisation representatives.

Janet MacDonald is Chief Officer for Age Concern. Her role is mainly the link from Age Concern to the team.

Anne Glover is the link to the Hereford Times.

Dennis Humble represents Envirobility.

Then there are those who are seeing to the detail.

Alison Fletcher is the Rural Outreach Officer at Age Concern.

And on 26 November, we are pleased to be joined by Gay Goodwin, the proprietor of The Rumbling Tum Company in Ross.

She has taken on the kitchen side of the Supper (unless a catering function comes up in the meantime and we understand that). Thank you Gay.

Alan Harrison takes the blame for starting all this. He has been covering the menu , and overseeing the catering aspects until Gay kindly came forward. He will see to the ticket design and the publicity.

Roles

There are specific roles on the team. Roles will overlap. There's three operational team members so far.

So far, there is scope for these roles to be filled :

Ticket Sales Coordinator

Publicity Coordinator to pass info to Anne Glover and the media generally.

Equipment organiser - there will be furniture to be coordinate.

Raffle organiser – possibly to obtain prizes and certainly to sell the tickets, arrange the table etc.

The following roles need only be carried out on the day:

A restaurant organiser plus the servers for want of a better word.

Soft-drink Bar ‘Manager’

Security - coats etc.

The aim is to use email and the phone, rather than have meetings although we need to meet occasionally.
